Basic Ignorance of What Your Company Does, Exhibit FU

Our basic stance is this: if you own a company that traffics tech, then you should be held accountable when the tech is mishandled. So if you are Yahoo and your shite security practices allow one billion accounts to be compromised, you, the CEO and CTO should be held accountable. Personally. How? We like the China solution. Take the CEO and CTO out back and leave’em in front of a firing squad. Same applies here: 23,000 HTTPS certificates axed after CEO emails private keys.

This crap will only keep happening because the CEO and CTO make decisions based on money and less on security. It might take a dozen or so dead corpocrats, but then suddenly this epic, multiple industry affecting, millions-of-people-burned stuff would stop happening. It’d be like baby Jesus coming around for 2019 Christmas with free home fusion reactors and holodecks for everyone.
